About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative - Division is a key member of our Sales Team, responsible for supporting contractors, builders, and homeowners by providing expert guidance on product selection, pricing, and order coordination. This position collaborates closely with the Outside Sales Team and Yard Operations to deliver seamless and exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through final delivery. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably within the building materials or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of masonry, stone, or brick products is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and basic sales software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong team orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist walk-in customers, phone callers, and email inquiries by providing information on stone and brick products, pricing, availability, and application.
  • Generate quotes, process orders, and conduct follow-up communications to ensure customer satisfaction and close sales.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of product lines, including natural stone, thin veneer, manufactured stone, and brick.
  • Communicate with vendors and the Purchasing Team to source special-order materials and provide customers with accurate lead times.
  • Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives to support their accounts and uphold high service standards.
  • Maintain showroom displays, samples, and marketing materials in a clean, organized, and up-to-date manner.
  • Track open orders and coordinate with Yard Operations to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Assist with material takeoffs and estimates for customer projects as needed.
  • Build long-term customer relationships through reliable communication and exceptional follow-through.
  • All other duties assigned.
