About the position

As an Inside Sales Representative at Hussey Copper, you will be the primary point of contact for specific accounts or product groups, responsible for managing inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer support throughout the sales process. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building customer relationships and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary sales contact for assigned accounts or product groups.
• Process customer inquiries, quotes, and order entries, ensuring timely confirmations.
• Maintain and follow up on the quote log to convert inquiries into sales.
• Collaborate with engineering to manage part numbers and changes.
• Support customer portals and maintain communication regarding order status.
• Analyze and reconcile variances in the sales SIOP forecast.
• Solicit new and repeat business through proactive outreach, including cold calls and follow-ups with dormant accounts.
• Coordinate freight consolidation and manage expedite requests.
• Generate reports and provide market insights for company strategies.
• Participate in monthly and annual reviews (SIOP, MOR/BOD) and contribute to strategic planning efforts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inside sales, customer service, or related roles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with customer portals, sales forecasting, and data analysis is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred.
