About the position

The Inside Sales Representative at BBC Pump and Equipment Company is a full-time role focused on supporting the Fire Protection sales team. The representative will engage with clients to understand their needs, manage order entry, and provide technical support throughout the sales process. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, along with a passion for sales and technical products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Utilize Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and report on sales activities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to strategize on lead generation and conversion tactics.
• Assist in negotiation terms of sale and close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers during and after the sales process.
• Follow up with leads and existing customers to ensure ongoing engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a technical sales environment.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
• 1 year of inside sales experience (preferred).
• 1 year of technical sales experience (preferred).
• Associate's degree (required).
