About the position

The Inside Sales Representative at Holistic Industries is responsible for expanding the company's cannabis business by fostering long-term client relationships and addressing customer needs in collaboration with the Outside Sales Team. This role involves direct communication with customers, managing accounts, and promoting the company's products effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Outside Sales Team to develop positive relationships with customers and distributors.
  • Act as the customers' primary point of contact and handle individual needs.
  • Co-manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Upsell Holistic products during phone interactions with customers.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Track and report on customer preferences, providing feedback to Marketing and Sales.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide timely solutions to customers.
  • Report regularly on the status of accounts and transactions.
  • Raise awareness of the company's brands through marketing tools and events.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the industry and company products.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of sales or related customer-focused experience.
  • Cannabis industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Experience with CSR software.
  • Ability to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to work a nontraditional schedule, including evenings and weekends.
