About the position

The Inside Sales Representative at Triforest NY Inc. plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support for the company's innovative laminate and vinyl flooring solutions. This position involves responding to customer inquiries, managing sales activities, and collaborating with various teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide product information to walk-in clients and help them find solutions for their flooring needs.
  • Assist with trade shows and handle inside-sales activities such as checking stock availability, processing purchase orders, issuing invoices, and following up on customer accounts using NetSuite.
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts receivables, ensuring timely payment collections by following company policies.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including creating sales orders, issuing credit memos, processing refunds, and entering vendor bills.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives and the warehouse team to ensure seamless customer service and efficient inventory management.
  • Prepare daily sales reports and provide analysis of client performance and sales trends to support the management team.
  • Contribute to general office duties and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree.
  • Prior experience in sales, administration, or customer service, preferably within the flooring or construction industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Chinese or Spanish skills are an asset.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and NetSuite is an asset.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a dynamic team.
  • A friendly and professional demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the flooring or construction industry.
  • Forklift Certification.
