About the position

The Inside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in managing customer requests, making proactive sales calls, and ensuring customer retention. This position involves collaboration with the Outside Sales team and focuses on promoting eServices while handling quotations and bookings efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Processes customer requests and performs bookings as per the booking process and the Cargo Booking Manual
• Books standard and special products including OAL (Other Airline) segments and conducts load ability and profitability checks before offering rates
• Makes quotations for ad hoc pricing requests following Target Pricing rules, considering profitability and customer willingness to pay
• Consults customers to find the right product and proactively sells customer-oriented transport solutions in collaboration with the Handling department and Outside Sales
• Supports the sales team to achieve revenue and tonnage budgets
• Performs all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• Bachelor's degree desirable
• 1-2 years of experience or equivalent required
• English language proficiency required
• Knowledge in Airfreight, Logistics, Transportation, and Sales required
• Expert knowledge desirable
• Advanced IT knowledge, preferably including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
