About the position

The Beauty Advisor position at Sally Beauty Corporate focuses on providing an exceptional customer experience while ensuring accurate transactions and maintaining store standards. This part-time role involves engaging with customers, supporting store operations, and adhering to safety and loss prevention policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide an optimal customer experience utilizing selling behaviors and company sales directives.
• Ensure all customer transactions are complete and accurate.
• Support brand standards compliance in maintaining a good store appearance.
• Resolve customer service issues in a timely and skillful manner.
• Collaborate with customers and co-workers to meet store needs.
• Assist the Store Manager with onboarding and training of new associates.
• Record all sales in the POS and handle monetary transactions accurately.
• Complete daily paperwork and reporting, including bank deposits when needed.
• Price merchandise, process back stock, and assist with shipment processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to execute knowledge from product training to support customer service.
• Ability to read and explain product labels.
• Ability to follow directions and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
