About the position

The Inside Sales position at Robert Half offers a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity within the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to create quotations and process purchase orders for machinery, spare parts, and services using QuickBooks.
• Utilize CRM to create opportunities for incoming RFQs and track the progress of each opportunity at each step.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Accounting departments to ensure all customer requests are fulfilled.
• Strengthen relationships with customers through effective communication.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed.
• Work independently as well as part of a team to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle inside sales tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to budget processes and buying processes as per company policy.
• Issue, generate, prepare, and process purchase orders and agreements.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in an Inside Sales role.
• Proficiency in CRM software is required.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software is an advantage.
• Understanding of budget processes and buying processes is essential.
• Experience in preparing purchase orders, processing purchases, and issuing purchases.
• Knowledge in generating, entering, and issuing purchase orders.
• Proficient in handling purchase loans and purchase agreements.
• Ability to prepare and process purchase orders.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in power purchase agreements will be a plus.
