About the position

Digi International is seeking an Inside Sales & Channel Account Manager to join the Infrastructure Management business unit. This role involves managing relationships with distributors and reseller partners to drive sales and revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, managing quoting activities, and developing targeted marketing strategies to enhance channel performance. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure effective communication and execution of sales initiatives across multiple regions including Canada, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with assigned Distributor or Resellers to assess relevant customer data and develop targeted partner program content and campaigns.
  • Establish metrics to track and report success and impact of strategic partner programs; implement closed-loop measures with partners to measure ROI.
  • Follow up on Marketing Qualified Leads with assigned Distributor or Resellers to accelerate sales conversion.
  • Collaborate with Channel Product Marketing and product management to drive new and existing distribution-relevant products matched to partners.
  • Work with Marketing for continuous review and improvements to Digi International's portion of assigned Distributor and Reseller's websites.
  • Acquire a clear understanding of how Digi International's marketing efforts fit within assigned Distributor and Reseller's portfolio.
  • Implement Distributor or Reseller training and enablement programs to drive sales activity.
  • Drive Marketing strategies aligned with business priorities matched to channel partner's specific space.
  • Utilize sources of data and market analytics to drive decision making and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or similar; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years' experience in channel partner management, specifically managing reseller partner companies.
  • Experience developing marketing strategies and executing co-marketing plans.
  • Experience in customer/prospect profiling and segmentation strategies.
  • Experience in customer account management.
  • Familiarity with sourcing, using, and interpreting data analytics to drive marketing.
  • Experience in developing and managing a sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (written, oral, listening, influencing).
  • Excellent relationship management and strong team building skills.
