About the position

The Project Manager for Elevated Experiences at Insomniac is responsible for overseeing various aspects of show management from pre-production through post-production. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for dance culture and live events, who will manage vendor relationships, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure the successful execution of event design concepts. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office work and on-site presence at various event locations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers on populating advances
• Collaborate with the lead manager and project finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and reconciling based on approved concept design
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors during project planning and execution
• Facilitate the creation and implementation of design concepts and activations per festival brand
• Support in populating the production schedule
• Create and manage the shipping document
• Manage all graphics, including creating the graphic grid and scrim plan, ensuring timely printing and installation
• Work alongside other departments to ensure setup items are according to plan
• Manage various orders such as drapery, greenery, and rentals
• Partner with the EE Admin Manager to complete the purchase tracker, HSBC, and upload receipts to the shared drive within five days post-event
• Support in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training various team members
• Act as the department lead on smaller shows
• Handle various projects and tasks as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of event production and operations coordination/planning and execution
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, Apple operating systems, Google Suite, Air table, Asana, and other necessary programs
• Ability to effectively supervise and manage groups of staff
• Motivated with an 'Everything is possible' attitude
• Active problem solver with a sense of urgency for projects
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
• Willingness to work nights and weekends and travel (economy) overnight/weekends
