About the position

The Inspection Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Inspection team by managing the day-to-day operations of the Inspections department. This position is essential for ensuring that all necessary components for project progression are completed on time while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety. The Inspection Coordinator will be responsible for tracking project deliverables and timelines, as well as maintaining clear communication with customers to keep them informed throughout the process. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to coordinate effectively with various departments to ensure smooth operations. In addition to managing project timelines, the Inspection Coordinator will work closely with managers to prepare and update progress schedules. Monitoring the daily production of the office and employees is a key responsibility, as is overseeing the progress of all accounts associated with the assigned department. The role also involves resolving customer complaints or concerns, which requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and confidentiality. The Inspection Coordinator may also be tasked with performing other duties as assigned, making flexibility and adaptability important traits for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage & track project deliverables and timelines.
  • Communicate with customers to keep them fully informed.
  • Work with Managers to prepare and update progress schedules.
  • Monitor and assist in the daily production of the office and employees.
  • Monitor the progress of all accounts associated with the assigned department.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns.
  • Coordinate with departments on a daily basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • 1 year of solar experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience.
  • Proficient at multitasking and competent in project management.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Excellent telephone skills required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Excellent customer inspection skills required.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
  • Outstanding follow-through.
  • Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record.
