The Inspector position at Allied Fire Protection involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities focused on the inspection and maintenance of fire protection systems, including fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and fire extinguishers. They will also be required to cross-train in additional licensing duties to obtain multiple licenses, enhancing their skill set and versatility within the company. The role includes leading large inspections and special projects, mentoring lower-level technicians, and assisting the inspection manager as needed. In addition to technical skills, the position requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies. Inspectors must ensure timely submission of job safety analyses, toolbox talks, and incident reports, while also maintaining a clean and organized job site. The role demands effective communication with both internal teams and external customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality control in all inspections performed. Inspectors are expected to work overtime, out of town, or on-call as required, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to their responsibilities.
