Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of intricate metal parts and machined components.
- Ensure components meet stringent quality standards.
- Utilize various measuring instruments and gauges, including calipers and micrometers.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in a similar position in a manufacturing facility.
- Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) preferred.
- Experience with various measuring tools such as steel scales, tape measures, micrometers, dial calipers, dial bore gauges, optical bore comparators.
- Advanced understanding of blueprint reading is crucial.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is a valuable asset.
Nice-to-haves
- CMM experience preferred.
- Advanced blueprint reading preferred.
- GD&T experience a plus.
