About the position

The Installation Foreman is responsible for overseeing installation projects at assigned sites, ensuring timely completion, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project budgets, and supervising installation teams to deliver efficient service while maximizing profit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned site branch installation projects and report progress to the Installation Supervisor/Project Manager.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on work priority and personnel skills.
• Communicate with customers, building owners, mechanical contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with internal contracting processes and customer-specific documentation.
• Maintain accuracy of forecasted costs by reviewing hours worked and material costs.
• Meet with contractors and owners to discuss project scope, budgets, and performance.
• Coordinate installation or remodel jobs on-site, including supervision of installers and helpers.
• Requisition materials and supplies necessary for projects.
• Read and comprehend plans and blueprints related to installation tasks.
• Inspect work areas and provide employee safety training to prevent unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; Technical Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC/R with commercial experience.
• Valid Driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift objects up to fifty pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance.

Nice-to-haves

• EPA 608 Certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in time management and mechanical aptitude.
