About the position

The Installation Project Manager will oversee the Installation teams at Renewal by Andersen of the Carolinas, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards in the installation process. This supervisory role involves collaboration with Sales, Operations, and production teams to resolve issues and enhance customer experience. The manager will implement standard operating procedures, conduct job site visits, manage crew capacity, and drive organizational goals through effective communication and team building.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement best practice SOP's for the Installation department.
  • Conduct job site visits to ensure installation process and quality standards are met.
  • Document and report all visits, personnel observations, and improvement recommendations to the Director of Production.
  • Manage Installation crew capacity, recruiting, onboarding, and workload balancing for subcontracting crews.
  • Work closely with the Assistant General Manager to create measurable processes for Installation crews.
  • Communicate organizational goals clearly to Install Crews and motivate them to maximize potential.
  • Manage daily processes and procedures for the Install department including meetings, training, and team building.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team on organizational goals and establish specific installation KPIs.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years' experience in the Construction or Home Improvement industry.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing and recruiting multiple crews of trade professionals in a subcontracting environment.
  • Demonstrable track record of relationship management and collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Highly organized and accurate with the ability to reflect empathy to customers and Install crews.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel, and experience with computer-based productivity tools such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to react to a fast-paced work environment while managing a team.
