About the position
The Installation Service Welder will be responsible for performing installation services for sanitary process systems at customer sites. This role involves TIG welding, operating various tools and equipment, and ensuring safety and quality in all tasks. The position requires travel, often overnight or on weekends, and the welder will represent the company while working on-site with clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques as required.
- Operate forklifts, torches, saws, drills, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics accurately.
- Assist with pipe fitting as needed during installations.
- Maintain a commitment to safety and represent the company positively at customer sites.
- Travel to customer locations for installation services, which may include overnight and weekend travel.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in sanitary tube welding.
- Experience with pipe fitting is required.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and ability to apply them effectively.
- Experience operating basic construction equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts.
