About the position
The Installation Services Welder - Lead position at CSI involves leading a field crew in the installation of sanitary process systems at customer sites. Responsibilities
- Lead a field crew in performing installation services for sanitary process systems.
- Perform TIG welding, grinding, polishing, and operate various equipment such as forklifts, torches, and drills.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics accurately.
- Assist with pipe fitting as needed.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed on the job site.
- Represent the company positively to customers during installations.
- Oversee field installation processes and provide coaching to team members.
- Manage travel logistics for overnight and weekend assignments.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail in welding and installation work.
- Good understanding of welding techniques, particularly TIG welding.
- Ability to lead and coach a team effectively.
- Pride of ownership and responsibility for quality of work.
- Valid Class E driver's license or ability to obtain one.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in pipe fitting.
- Familiarity with basic construction equipment operation.
