About the position
Budget Blinds of Wasatch is seeking a Window Treatment Installer to join their team. This full-time position involves installing custom window treatments and various window solutions for clients, with a focus on providing excellent service and maintaining high standards of quality. The role requires physical capability to work at heights and the ability to handle tools and equipment effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install window treatments for customers, including at heights of 15 feet or more.
- Use power tools and make repairs and adjustments to products as needed.
- Maintain the warehouse by checking in and organizing delivered products.
- Alert the office of newly received products and tag them for the proper customer.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the company van.
- Communicate with the office to resolve any problems or issues with orders.
- Properly dispose of packing materials and old blinds from customers' homes.
- Engage in door-to-door marketing and distribute yard signs to customers.
- Follow directions and utilize resources such as YouTube for installation instructions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record.
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
- Physical capability to climb ladders and step stools.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform bending and kneeling consistently.
