About the position
As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting large equipment and machinery, primarily in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective operation of thermal management systems (TMS) and involves significant on-site work. You will also be expected to train team members to foster a self-sustaining team environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot large equipment and machinery.
- Maximize output using constraint management techniques.
- Sustain process and handle equipment issues.
- Train and cross-train team members to build a self-sustaining team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Electro-Mechanical experience required.
- Experience with schematics is a plus.
- Experience with hand tools/power tools required; multi-meter experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills for working with both clients and team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in schematics is a plus.
- Comfortable in a clean room environment and getting into clean room attire (bunny suit).
- Comfortable wearing a respirator.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and standing for long periods.
- Comfortable working with hazardous materials and chemicals.
