About The Position

The Installation Technician at Insituform Technologies LLC plays a crucial role in the rehabilitation and repair of sewer and storm water lines. This position involves working closely with supervisors and peers to ensure effective installation processes while adhering to safety and operational standards. The technician will be responsible for operating construction equipment, driving vehicles to job sites, and performing physical tasks related to pipeline rehabilitation.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class A or B CDL preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in an outdoor construction environment, preferably with CIPP or water/sewer utilities.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends based on business needs.
• Ability to travel overnight, locally and regionally, as work assignments dictate.
• Less than 2 preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last 36 months.
• Ability to pass a drug test and criminal history background check.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to listen and comprehend instructions accurately.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CIPP technology.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction and pipeline work.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with supervisors and peers in the rehabilitation and repair of sewer and storm water lines.
• Direct operators of construction equipment with alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery.
• Drive various vehicles, including pickups and tractor-trailer rigs, to transport crews and equipment to work sites.
• Assist in the initial setup and cleanup of job sites, including lifting and carrying items over 50 lbs.
• Review entry and work permits, and assist in reviewing pre and post installation videos.
• Enter manholes and confined spaces to cut lines for installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
