About the position

The Installation Technician at Ocean 10 Security is responsible for installing and maintaining surveillance systems for various government clients across the United States. This role offers a flexible work environment and the opportunity to travel extensively while contributing to the company's mission of enhancing community safety through advanced technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Hire and manage local technicians.
• Travel on-site via company truck or plane to install equipment, retrofit, or perform maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical and tech-related issues.
• Manage your own travel and installation schedules.
• Plan and create infrastructures for customers.

Requirements

• Experience with IP Surveillance Camera technology.
• Basic IT environment knowledge including routers, POE, telecommunications, data storage, network, and systems administration.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the organization.
• Ability to think outside the box with technology and problem-solving in the field.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, stand on ladders, operate machinery, and access attics.
