About the position
We are currently seeking a Sign Installer with specialized expertise and demonstrable experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to perform various types of installations, including office signs, vinyl lettering, window graphics, applied films, wallpaper, and banners. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with various materials and tools to ensure high-quality installations. The Sign Installer will be responsible for interpreting design specifications and executing installations in a timely and professional manner. Only applicants with relevant industry experience will be considered for this position. This role is part-time and contract-based, with expected hours ranging from 10 to 12 per week, primarily scheduled from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed. The pay for this position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level. Candidates must be able to relocate to Houston, TX, before starting work, as the work location is primarily on the road.
Responsibilities
- Perform installations of office signs, vinyl lettering, window graphics, applied films, wallpaper, and banners.
- Interpret design specifications and execute installations according to client requirements.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail during installations.
- Maintain tools and equipment used for installations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in sign installation or a related field.
- Ability to perform auto painting and construction painting.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Experience with hand tools and welding is preferred.
- Entry-level candidates may be considered with relevant skills.
