The Institutional Research Analyst for Strategic Planning & Student Success at Rogue Community College (RCC) plays a crucial role in providing data analytical support for various strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing student success. This position involves collecting, researching, compiling, formatting, and analyzing data using a variety of statistical programming languages such as SQL and R, as well as statistical software and data tools like Microsoft PowerBI and Excel. The analyst will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for data collection and leverage institutional data to drive strategic initiatives and improve student outcomes. In addition to data analysis, the analyst will be responsible for developing and administering surveys to students, college employees, and external stakeholders, including K-12 and workforce partners. The role may also involve coordinating large-scale research studies under the direction of the Director of Institutional Research. The analyst is expected to contribute to a culture of evidence within the institution, assisting in the development and execution of the culture of evidence plan and maintaining related documentation.
