This includes utilizing SQL or other programming languages to generate data extracts, tables, and reports tailored to specific needs. The analyst will also anticipate and represent end-user needs, proposing analytic reports that address strategic, tactical, structured, or unstructured business questions. Responsibilities extend to analyzing data, preparing statistical reports, and interpreting results using appropriate software. The role requires responding to and supporting internal research requests from faculty, staff, and students, as well as collecting, verifying, analyzing, and presenting statistical data in response to external requests. The analyst will compile, maintain, and secure institutional databases, downloading data from various institutional resources such as Banner and COGNOS, and formatting data for analysis and reporting. Additionally, the analyst will represent the Office of Institutional Research on committees and provide training and technical support for faculty and staff. The position also involves assisting with mandatory reporting requirements such as IPEDS, CBM, LBB, and System reporting, along with performing other duties as assigned.
