The Institutional Training Developer Crew Training Intern position is a full-time role based in Augusta, GA, focused on developing and designing instructional training materials. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of experience working with automated training development databases, such as Training Development Capabilities (TDC). Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in creating full-length skill-based instructional training materials and writing lesson plans using the Adult Learning Model or Experiential Learning Model. Alternatively, candidates with five years of military experience in relevant fields may also qualify. The role requires advanced writing skills tailored to different audiences, knowledge of the ADDIE process, and proficiency in various computer applications, including word processing and knowledge management tools like SharePoint and Blackboard. The position involves developing training products in accordance with the ADDIE process and Army Learning Model Principles, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and SOPs. Responsibilities include conducting research to integrate training concepts, performing training analysis to determine needs and standards, and validating courses based on TRADOC regulations. The intern will also be responsible for analyzing survey results, participating in special projects, and developing instructional materials for complete courses, including Programs of Instruction, Lesson Plans, and Blackboard training modules. This role does not have supervisory responsibilities, allowing the intern to focus on training development and instructional design without the added burden of managing a team.
