About the position

The INSTR PROGRAM ACTIVITY COORDINATOR at Bayview Elementary is responsible for planning and conducting the Before and After School Care academic and enrichment program activities. The role aims to ensure a safe and enriching environment for school-age children participating in the program.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct Before and After School Care program activities.
• Ensure a safe and enriching environment for participants.
• Supervise school-age children in a group setting.
• Complete required training and certifications within the first year of employment.
• Maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
• Attend approved training sessions annually.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience working with school-age children in a group supervision setting (preferred).
• Complete Child Abuse and Neglect training within the first year.
• Obtain First Aid and CPR certification within the first year.
• Attend at least ten hours of approved Before and After School Child Care training within the first year.
• Demonstrated personal characteristics suitable for working with children, youth, and adults.
• Computer skills as needed for the position.
