About the position

The position involves planning and conducting Before and After School Care on-site academic and enrichment program activities, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for participants.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct academic and enrichment activities for school-age children.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during the program.
• Maintain a positive and engaging environment for children.
• Complete required training and certifications within the first year of employment.
• Attend ongoing training sessions as required each year.

Requirements

• An earned bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience working with school-age children in a group supervision setting is preferred.
• Complete Child Abuse and Neglect training within the first year of employment.
• Attain First Aid and CPR certification within the first year and maintain it.
• Attend at least ten hours of approved Before and After School Child Care training within the first year.
• Demonstrated appropriate personal characteristics for working with children, youth, and adults.
• Computer skills as needed for the position.
