About the position

The Instructional Designer position at Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a full-time temporary role focused on developing effective learning materials and training programs. The role involves creating instructional content that aligns with learning objectives and supports the training needs of the organization. This position is fully remote and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the curriculum is comprehensive and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Develops learning objectives for course modules to describe desired outcomes and ensures learning materials support the objectives.
  • Designs and develops instructionally sound curriculum including instructor-led facilitator guides, tools, job aids, and self-study materials.
  • Develop appropriate training sessions for process and procedural components of the curriculum including scenarios, practice activities, etc.
  • Develop evaluations for each module based on the course objectives.
  • Manage project training material library including design templates and curriculum version controls.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years instructional design experience, including training facilitator guides, activities, job aids, and PowerPoint slides.
  • E-Learning development experience preferred.
  • Experience instructional designing a large scale training project.
  • Training facilitation experience preferred.
  • Master's degree in Instructional Design or comparable preferred.
  • Familiarity with Healthcare/Insurance preferred.
