About the position

The Instructional Designer position at Johnson Service Group is a temporary role focused on developing and designing instructional materials for training programs. The role requires creating learning objectives, designing curriculum, and managing training materials to ensure effective learning outcomes. This position is fully remote and offers a competitive hourly pay rate.

Responsibilities

• Develop learning objectives for course modules to describe desired outcomes.
• Design and develop instructionally sound curriculum including facilitator guides, tools, job aids, and self-study materials.
• Create appropriate training sessions for process and procedural components of the curriculum, including scenarios and practice activities.
• Develop evaluations for each module based on the course objectives.
• Manage project training material library, including design templates and curriculum version controls.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of instructional design experience, including training facilitator guides, activities, job aids, and PowerPoint slides.
• E-Learning development experience preferred.
• Experience in instructional designing for a large scale training project.
• Training facilitation experience preferred.
• Master's degree in Instructional Design or comparable preferred.
• Familiarity with Healthcare/Insurance preferred.
