About the position
The Instructional Aide is expected to support academic and behavioral student specific needs in a structured environment. In carrying out these responsibilities, the Instructional Aide shall work closely with students to ensure they receive the necessary support to succeed academically and behaviorally.
Responsibilities
- Instruct student as assigned
- Follow student specific programming
- Provide reinforcement strategies
- Use appropriate prompting procedures
Requirements
- Experience with behavior de-escalation strategies preferred
- Restraint training experience preferred
