About the position
The School District of Sheboygan Falls is seeking a part-time Instructional Assistant for a cross-categorical special education program at the Elementary School. This role involves providing academic and behavioral support to students with disabilities, working both one-on-one and in small groups. The position requires a commitment to teamwork and a passion for working with children of varying needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 academic and behavioral support to students with disabilities.
- Assist in small group support in both general and special education settings.
- Maintain a positive and energetic attitude while working with students.
- Develop good rapport with students and staff.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working across various school-based settings.
Requirements
- Valid Special Education Aide Licensure (WI DPI PI-1602-PA) or other current DPI license required.
- Experience in providing support to students with varying academic, behavioral, and physical needs.
- Strong organizational skills.
