About the position
The University of Mississippi is seeking an Instructional Assistant Professor of Stage & Production Management to join the Department of Theatre & Film. This full-time, non-tenure track position will commence on August 21, 2025. The role involves supervising the stage and production management area, teaching undergraduate courses, serving as production manager for the mainstage season, and mentoring students in their academic and career development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the stage and production management area at a Research I University.
- Teach undergraduate management courses at both lower and upper division levels.
- Serve as production manager for the mainstage season.
- Mentor students academically and in career preparation.
- Participate in recruitment and shared governance activities.
Requirements
- Terminal degree or equivalent professional experience in stage and/or production management.
