About the position

The Instructional Coach for College and Career Development at Gwinnett County Public Schools is responsible for developing and delivering professional learning initiatives that enhance the Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) program. This role involves collaborating with educators to implement effective instructional strategies, support curriculum development, and facilitate data-driven decision-making to improve student outcomes across various educational settings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement professional learning initiatives for the Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education program.
  • Assist in the development of lesson plans, instructional calendars, interventions, extensions, and assessments for the CTAE program.
  • Provide support to Local School Plans for Improvement (LSPI) related to career, technical, and agricultural education.
  • Communicate program research and information to various internal and external audiences.
  • Manage and promote student programs, including instructional resources and Career Technical Student Organizations.

Requirements

  • Valid Georgia teaching certification required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • Master's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Three years of successful teaching experience required.
  • Experience delivering professional learning opportunities preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working across curriculum areas preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge and application of research-based instructional strategies.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $69,500 - $103,468 annually.
  • Full-time employment with a standard 40-hour work week.
