Instructional Coach (Elementary) - Immediate Project Start Date (Atlanta, GA)

About the position

Out Teach is seeking experienced elementary and early childhood educators to provide training and coaching, focusing on outdoor learning and STEM education. The role involves developing relationships with teachers and school administrators, delivering professional learning, and implementing evaluation plans. Coaches will work both in-person and virtually, supporting schools across multiple states, with a commitment of 10-12 hours per week per school.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate Teacher Professional Learning and Instructional Coaching.
• Write lesson plans and modules in multiple content areas using the 5E instructional model.
• Utilize the Out Teach online platform to share resources with school partners.
• Develop and cultivate relationships at the school level to ensure Learning Labs are embedded in each school's culture.
• Coordinate closely with the Partnership Manager to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Implement elements of the organization's evaluation plan.

Requirements

• A four-year college degree in a relevant field of study is preferred.
• At least five years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher, with three years facilitating outdoor experiential learning.
• Proven effectiveness coaching and training educators, virtually and in-person.
• Range of teaching experience across grade levels and content areas with expertise in science and experiential learning best practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
