About the position

The TK-8 Grade Instructional Coach at Sacramento Valley Charter School will collaborate with classroom teachers to enhance student learning through effective instructional strategies. This role focuses on professional development tailored to the needs of individual educators, aiming to refine their understanding of research-based instructional practices and support the school's continuous improvement plan.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with educators to develop and implement effective curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to teachers in the areas of content development and instructional design.
• Facilitate professional development workshops focused on best practices in teaching and learning technology.
• Observe classroom instruction and provide constructive feedback to enhance teaching effectiveness.
• Assist in the integration of learning technologies into the curriculum to support diverse learners.
• Develop training materials and resources that align with educational standards and best practices.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages continuous improvement among staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience in instructional coaching or a similar role within an educational setting.
• Strong background in curriculum development, content development, and training development.
• Familiarity with adult education principles and effective communication strategies.
• Proficient in instructional design methodologies that enhance classroom learning experiences.
• Ability to effectively write and communicate ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience utilizing learning technology tools to facilitate instruction is preferred.
