The Instructional Curriculum Designer will play a pivotal role in developing and managing curriculum for new educational programs while also collaborating with faculty to maintain the curriculum of existing programs focused on organ and tissue donation and transplantation. This position is essential for successfully integrating technology-based learning into the curriculum, which includes retooling existing materials and creating new content that meets the needs of professionals in the field. The designer will be responsible for ensuring that the curriculum is not only educationally sound but also engaging and accessible to a diverse audience. In this role, the Instructional Designer will support the planning, development, organization, administration, and evaluation of new educational programs. This includes creating presentation slides, facilitator outlines, participant materials, learning objectives, and competency testing materials. The designer will also be tasked with registering users, uploading courses, developing learning paths, and generating reports to track progress and effectiveness. Additionally, the role involves administering Virtual Classroom Trainings and OnDemand programming, which includes maintaining learner communications, monitoring discussion boards, and hosting weekly webinars. The Instructional Designer will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop instructional materials that effectively convey policies, procedures, systems, or skills that require instruction. This includes producing materials for various delivery methods, such as instructor-led and distance-based learning. The designer will also review and revise content based on feedback from clients, supervisors, or other stakeholders, ensuring that the curriculum remains relevant and effective. Furthermore, the designer will actively promote both instructor-led and distance-based learning opportunities and assist in developing marketing materials to promote the Institute's offerings, including newsletters, flyers, and social media posts. Maintaining the company website and updating it with events, articles, and links to industry-specific news will also be part of the responsibilities.
