About The Position
We are working closely with our client in locating an experienced Instructional Design Consultant to develop an interactive job aid and eLearning course aimed at assisting employees with submitting procurement requests. This initiative is critical for streamlining their procurement processes and ensuring efficient operations. The role is fully virtual, allowing for flexibility in work hours while maintaining a commitment to deliver high-quality instructional materials within a specified timeframe. The primary focus of this position is to create a 15-minute interactive eLearning course that effectively trains employees on the procurement request process. In addition to the eLearning course, the consultant will also be responsible for developing an interactive job aid that supports employees in submitting procurement requests. A key deliverable will be the design and implementation of a PALT (Procurement, Action, Lead, Time) Calculator, which will be hosted on the intranet to provide lead times for procurement request resolution. Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and project stakeholders is essential to ensure that the content is accurate and relevant to the needs of the organization. The consultant will utilize existing content (90%) to develop training materials, supplementing them with additional information as necessary. This role requires strong proficiency in Instructional Design, particularly in creating engaging and interactive eLearning content, as well as advanced Excel skills for the development of the PALT Calculator. Excellent communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with SMEs and project stakeholders, and experience with procurement processes and policies is considered a plus.
