We are recruiting for an Instructional Designer and Trainer for our client, a County in the State of California. The focus of this role is to assist with the training of Jail Management System and Integrated Justice System projects. This contract position is long-term with funding approved every 12 months, and extensions are likely. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week and is hybrid, with 3 days per week onsite at our client's offices in Santa Clara, CA. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee, and health benefits and 401K are offered to the successful candidate. The Instructional Designer and Trainer will be responsible for developing software systems training materials for employees, formulating specific objectives against which to compare and evaluate training results, and conducting training and development sessions. The role requires the ability to perform as a facilitator and effectively utilize group dynamic skills and techniques. The successful candidate will need to learn and retain knowledge of all assigned applications, coordinate and communicate with process stakeholders, and maintain currency in state-of-the-art training theory and practice. Additionally, the role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, reasoning logically and creatively, and utilizing a variety of analytical skills and sound techniques to meet program goals related to management and employee training and development, as well as improving organizational productivity.
