Our client is part of a statewide initiative aimed at providing individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to gain work experience within hospital settings. They are currently seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to assist in transforming existing PowerPoint presentations into engaging eLearning modules. The primary focus of this training is to educate colleagues and leaders on understanding behavioral differences and effectively giving directions to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating two eLearning courses that will feature minimal interactivity, likely utilizing the RISE platform within Articulate 360. This role is crucial in ensuring that the training materials are accessible and informative, thereby enhancing the work experience for individuals with disabilities in the hospital environment. The project is expected to commence around September 23, with the duration to be determined by the consultant's availability and project needs.
