The Office of Digital Learning (ODL) at the University of Maryland, College Park, is seeking an Instructional Designer Assistant to support various initiatives aimed at enhancing instructional quality and student engagement. This position is integral to the ODL team, which focuses on innovating instruction through immersive workshops and personalized faculty coaching. The assistant will work closely with instructional designers to ensure that courses meet design, quality, and accessibility standards, contributing significantly to the development of engaging learning experiences for students. In this role, the Instructional Designer Assistant will be responsible for conducting content reviews, proofreading, and editing materials within the Canvas learning management system. The assistant will also participate in quality assurance reviews of designed courses, ensuring compliance with established design and accessibility guidelines.
