About the position

The Instructional Designer Intermediate at Ovation Healthcare is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for software managed by the Information & Technology Services (ITS) department. This role involves designing training curricula, creating educational content, and coordinating training sessions to enhance individual and organizational performance. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective training delivery and support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the software training program for Epic applications and other ITS software.
• Create and edit curriculum and training/support materials for all roles.
• Collaborate with leaders and analysts to determine effective training approaches.
• Provide training and remediation for system users through various methods including classroom and online learning.
• Coordinate training-related logistics and communications.
• Respond to requests for training and resolve service tickets.
• Create, build, configure, test, and maintain software training environments.
• Participate in recruiting and training Credentialed Trainers (CTs) for user training.
• Ensure CTs are equipped to serve specific applications and user areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 2 years of experience in instructional design or related field.
• Clinical employees must maintain appropriate licensure without lapse.
• Must complete required Epic certification testing within specified timeframe.
