About the position

Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue the mission. Our site in Colorado Springs is seeking an Instructional Designer/Content Creator Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. This position is required to be onsite 40 hours per week from January - June 2025. In this role, you will be responsible for creating training materials such as training guides, job aids, videos, and e-learning courses. You will incorporate adult learning theory into instructional design deliverables and apply the ADDIE methodology to all curriculum projects. Collaboration with subject matter experts in multiple departments will be essential to gather materials and gain insight into training needs. Additionally, you will maintain and update instructional design materials to ensure they are current and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Create training materials such as training guides, job aids, videos, and e-learning courses.
  • Incorporate adult learning theory to instructional design deliverables.
  • Apply the ADDIE methodology to all curriculum projects.
  • Work with subject matter experts in multiple departments to gather materials and gain insight into training needs.
  • Maintain and update instructional design materials.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline or Rise.
  • Experience writing course objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work across department lines and build strong working relationships.
  • Knowledge of the ADDIE model to design curriculum.
  • Ability to create and maintain a project plan for instructional design assignments.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to create visually appealing and informative presentations.
  • Document processes and create learning activities.

Nice-to-haves

  • ATD instructional design certifications.
  • At least 1 year of corporate instructional design experience.
  • Experience with multiple software tools, such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, Visio, Adobe InDesign, etc.
  • Knowledge of Bloom's Taxonomy and Kirkpatrick's levels of evaluation.
  • Experience working instructional design projects from beginning to end.
  • Ability to conduct thorough needs and tasks analysis.
