About the position

As an Instructional Designer at Uline's Kenosha Branch, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning and development of our customer service team. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop engaging learning solutions and training programs that empower our employees to deliver legendary service. This position requires a passion for creating effective learning tools that ignite the potential in others, ensuring that our team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. In this role, you will develop high-quality learning materials for various formats, including in-person training, eLearning modules, and video training. You will collaborate closely with leadership to identify the specific learning needs of the team and create content that is focused on the learner's experience. Establishing standards for consistent training delivery will be essential, as will measuring the effectiveness of the programs you create. You will also be responsible for staying updated on emerging trends in instructional design and technology, allowing you to implement new procedures and techniques that enhance training effectiveness. This position is on-site, and we are looking for individuals who share our commitment to exceptional service and continuous improvement in training methodologies. Responsibilities

  • Develop quality learning materials for in-person, eLearning, and video training modules that align with Uline standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify learning needs and create learner-focused content.
  • Create standards for consistent training delivery and measure program effectiveness.
  • Track emerging instructional design and technology trends to develop new procedures and techniques to improve training effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, technology, education, or a related field.
  • Experience with rapid-authoring, audio and video editing tools and workflows.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in the customer service industry preferred.
