About the position

Spectra Tech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer/Developer/Instructor for Technical Instructor Led Training to join our team in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This role is critical in enhancing our training programs through the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). The Instructional Technologist will be involved in all phases of SAT, with a strong emphasis on Analysis, Design, and Development. The primary expectation for this position is to actively participate in the design and development of Technical Instructor Led training programs. This initiative is part of a broader effort to revise and improve the quality of our technical classroom training offerings. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and develop effective instructional materials. You will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive training content that meets the learning objectives and enhances the overall training experience. The Instructional Designer will also evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design principles and methodologies, as well as experience in developing technical training materials. You will need to be proficient in using various instructional design tools and technologies to create high-quality training content. Additionally, you will be expected to stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and training delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) focusing on Analysis, Design, and Development.
