Our client, a nationwide restaurant group in San Diego, is looking for an Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer to join their team on a freelance basis. This role will be between 30-40 hours per week starting as soon as possible through the end of August, with the potential to extend. The ideal candidate must have experience with Articulate Rise or Inkling to be considered for this position. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for collaborating with the video and eLearning teams to assist with a project involving the rollout of a new computer system. This includes taking provided information and inputting it into the company's Learning Management System (LMS), specifically Inkling. Additionally, the role involves the creation or editing of videos and other content as needed to support the training initiatives. To be successful in this position, the Instructional Designer will need to have at least 5 years of experience in Instructional Design and eLearning. Experience in developing training content, including storyboarding and editing, is essential. The candidate should also possess project management experience, technical writing skills, and proficiency in Adobe InDesign. Basic video editing and HTML experience are considered a plus. Familiarity with Articulate Rise or similar tools is a requirement for this role.
