About the position

Montana Technological University is seeking four Instructional Designers to enhance the delivery of traditional engineering degrees through the development of high-quality online courses. These positions will involve collaboration with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to ensure that course content is accessible and engaging for a diverse student body.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with disciplinary experts to convert existing content into online courses.
• Conduct systematic reviews of course materials with input from all contributors, including an External Advisory Board.
• Create engaging and effective asynchronous courses that meet grant provider standards.
• Work closely with course facilitators and teaching assistants to ensure course quality and accessibility.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in instructional design or related field.
