About the position

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating and developing engaging learning experiences that align with the goals of the Central Health team. This role emphasizes collaboration with subject matter experts to design effective curricula and learning materials, utilizing various instructional design methodologies and technologies to enhance the learning process.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and design comprehensive curriculum, courses, and learning materials that meet defined learning objectives.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences, including eLearning modules, videos, webinars, and other digital and traditional formats.
  • Develop multimedia content, including graphics, animations, audio, and interactive elements, to enhance the learning experience and promote learner engagement.
  • Define clear learning objectives and outcomes for each learning experience, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and learner needs.
  • Craft compelling narratives and scenarios to contextualize learning content and make it relevant to learners' real-world challenges.
  • Design formative and summative assessments to measure learner progress and knowledge retention.
  • Analyze assessment data to refine learning materials.
  • Utilize eLearning authoring tools, graphic design software, and multimedia applications to create visually appealing and interactive learning content.
  • Review and edit learning materials for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to design standards.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in instructional design, eLearning, and digital learning platforms.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts and LMS administrators, to ensure seamless development and delivery of learning content.
  • Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Seek feedback from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve learning materials and incorporate best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education or related field.
  • One (1) year of experience in adult learning theory, instructional design and eLearning development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education or related field.
  • Four (4) years of experience in adult learning theory, instructional design and eLearning development in healthcare delivery.
