About the position

The Instructional Designer - II will be responsible for developing training content for teams within the client Business organization. This role focuses on instructional design and development of both instructor-led and virtual learning assets, ensuring the relevance and quality of training materials through collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop instructional design and training content for instructor-led and virtual learning assets.
• Conduct technical writing and capture process documentation for performance support.
• Analyze learning needs and collaborate with subject matter experts to inform course content and design.
• Work with training workgroups and stakeholders to create effective training materials using an agile approach.
• Design assessments, role-plays, activities, and job aids based on needs analysis.
• Conduct end-user testing and validation to ensure the quality and accuracy of training tools and processes.
• Create trainer certification materials and lead Master Trainer certifications during program roll-out.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Instructional Design and Development experience.
• 2-3 years of Technical Writing experience.
• Proficient in eLearning development using Storyline, Rise, and Camtasia.
• Strong written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced adult learning skills.
• Proficient program management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite skills (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
• Digital Content Management experience (Adobe Experience, WordPress, etc.).
• Expert graphic design and editing skills with Snagit or Photoshop.
