The Instructional Designer - II position is a long-term contract role that offers the flexibility of remote work. The primary focus of this role is to develop training content for various teams within the client’s business organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and development, with a particular emphasis on creating both instructor-led and virtual learning assets. This includes designing functional new hire training, continuing education programs, and training for priority business initiatives or products and services that require effective execution. In this role, the Instructional Designer will also engage in technical writing, capturing process documentation that serves as performance support for learners. A critical aspect of the job involves analyzing learning needs and collaborating with subject matter experts and clients to gather input for course content and design. The designer will work closely with other training workgroups and stakeholders, employing an agile approach to develop the most effective training materials. Additionally, the position requires the design of knowledge and skill assessments, role-plays, activities, and job aids based on the results of needs analysis. The Instructional Designer will ensure the relevance, quality, and accuracy of training tools and processes by conducting end-user testing and validation. Furthermore, the role includes the responsibility for creating trainer certification materials and leading Master Trainer certifications as part of the program rollout and launch.
