As an Instructional Designer II at TEKsystems, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of training programs that meet the needs of our diverse audience. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of instructional design methodologies, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training materials. You will be responsible for creating both Technology-Based Training (TBT) and instructor-led training (ILT) packages, ensuring that they are tailored to the specific needs of the audience based on thorough data collection and analysis. In this hybrid role based in Plano, Texas, you will work on-site two days a week and have the flexibility to manage your hours to support the development and delivery of workshops, which may occasionally extend beyond the typical workday. Collaboration is key in this position; you will consistently engage with team members and stakeholders to maintain focus on achieving results and meeting deadlines across multiple projects. Your responsibilities will also include developing expertise in the instructional design process, which encompasses analyzing audience needs, job tasks, and creating curriculum maps, storyboards, flowcharts, performance objectives, testing strategies, and learning activities. Regular communication with development stakeholders is essential to ensure the successful implementation of projects, and you will be expected to solicit feedback from peers and managers to enhance your performance and capabilities. Additionally, you will learn to utilize metrics to manage and assess deliverables effectively, confidently articulate the value of training, and present training KPIs and impacts to the sales organization.
